Weekly Art Challenge #8 (Oct.13 - Oct.19): Illustrate an entry from Weekly Writing Challenges! Hooray for collaboration!

Well, we’ve been wanting to collaborate with Weekly Writing Challenges for a while! Since I started my classes this week I haven’t had the time to plan something more elaborate, so we’re going with a simple one this week! Pick any entry that’s been submitted to Weekly Writing Challenges, and illustrate it - it can be a comic, a single picture, whatever you want! :) 

The challenge? Here you’re working with an idea that isn’t yours…read it carefully: what is the writer trying to tell? what is the main focus of the text? Draw something that complements the text, that catches the feeling of it.

More details on this challenge:

• Be careful with the size of your submission! We recommend keeping it to a maximum width of 800-900px, or it messes up with the site layout and it becomes hard to appreciate it well on some screens.
• Add a link to the entry you used on your submission! And don’t forget to credit the writer! :)
• Give it your best!!

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask! We’ll give you an answer as soon as possible. Once you’re done, go to our submission page and send it in! We’ll be posting everyone’s work during the week.
